Privacy & Cookie Policy

This page describes how personal data are processed on fabiocalvosa.com and which cookies and similar technologies are used. Pursuant to Articles 13 and 14 of the EU Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR).

1. Data Controller

The Data Controller is Fabio Calvosa, freelance, with registered office in Via dei Partigiani 9, 28041 Arona (NO), Italy — VAT no. IT 02158150033.

Contact: fabio@fabiocalvosa.com.

No Data Protection Officer (DPO) has been appointed, as it is not required.

2. Data collected

The following personal data are collected through the contact form and the “Which website do you need?” questionnaire on this site:

  • Required: full name, e-mail address.
  • Optional (contact form): company name, free-text message, project type, scope, budget, timeline, language preference.
  • Optional (questionnaire): phone number, business or company name, current website address, free-text message, plus the answers given to the questions (kind of business, goals, tools in use, timeline, indicative budget) and the resulting project profile.
  • Campaign parameters: if you reach the site from an ad or a link containing utm_ parameters (e.g. campaign name), these are attached to the request you send. They contain no personal identifiers.

No data are collected through analytics, profiling cookies, advertising tools, or hidden tracking. Server logs maintained by the hosting provider may temporarily contain technical metadata (IP address, user agent, timestamp) for security and diagnostic purposes only.

3. Purposes & legal basis

Personal data are processed exclusively for the following purposes:

  • Replying to your collaboration request — legal basis: pre-contractual measures taken at the request of the data subject (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
  • Compliance with legal obligations (e.g. accounting, tax) where a contractual relationship arises — legal basis: Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR.
  • Site security and integrity (server logs) — legal basis: legitimate interest of the Controller (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Providing the required data (name, e-mail) is necessary in order to receive a reply. Refusal to provide them simply means that the request cannot be processed.

4. Recipients & data processors

Data are not disclosed or sold to third parties. They may be processed by the following entities, acting as Data Processors under Article 28 GDPR:

  • Aruba S.p.A. — Via San Clemente 53, 24036 Ponte San Pietro (BG), Italy. Provides hosting, e-mail (SMTP) and backup services. Technical and organizational measures are governed by Aruba's data processing terms.

No further external processors are involved.

5. Data transfer outside the EU

Personal data submitted through the contact form are stored on servers operated by Aruba S.p.A. located within the European Union. No transfer of personal data outside the EU is performed for purposes related to handling your request.

Fonts, style sheets and scripts are hosted on the same server as the site: no external provider is contacted in order to display the pages. The only exception is the booking service described in the Cookie Policy below.

6. Retention period

Data submitted via the contact form are kept for a maximum of 12 months from the date of submission, after which they are manually deleted from the inbox by the Controller.

Where a contractual relationship arises, data necessary to fulfil legal obligations (e.g. invoicing, tax records) are kept for the time required by applicable law.

Backup copies maintained by the hosting provider may persist for additional time according to the provider's standard backup rotation policies.
